Forums

What's it all about?Every year at Airweek we arrange what some have called Technical Forums. They are opportunities for members and interested parties to learn about topics related to aviation. Things like aspects of sheetmetal work, fabric covering demonstrations, automotive engine conversions, aircraft instrumentation, flight medicine issues, legal issues, etc. They are usually organised on the Thursday and/or Friday during the day. They generally last about 45 minutes to 1 hour each, depending on the presenter and interest / questions from the floor.

We're looking for suggestions and for topics, as well as volunteers to do presentations. If you can help (with either one), please contact Russell Dold <r.dold@absamail.co.za>.

Provisional Forum Programme – Airweek 2004

About the program: We're planning on alretnating the forums between the two venues in order for presenters to get their stuff ready. That way you don't have to wait for somebody to get their presentation sorted out. Saturday's program has been compacted a bit so it doesn't clash with the air show

Please note this is a provisional program, the operative word being provisional - it's subject to change without notice.

Updated 22 April 2004: The latest edition of the Provisional Programme for the Technical Forums. Those of you who read these things may notice that a few changes have taken place - some late cancellations. I want to thank Peter How and Marc Kuster for stepping into the respective breeches at very short notice - please support them as they have both supported our organisation over many years.
