EAA/PLACO Airmanship Workship - 21-Jun-08

EAA in conjunction with sponsor, Placo, and Pierre Laubscher, will be holding an Airmanship Workshop and Panel Discussion at the EAA Auditorium on the 21st June 2008. The chance to have your questions answered and debated by expert aviators.

Our guests/panelists will be:

  • Dennis Spence: Head of the Pilot selection board for SAA, Past Chief Training Captain on Boeing 747’s, Wesbank Pitts Aerobatic display pilot.
  • Jim Davis: Renowned military and civilian Flight Instructor, Charter, survey and Aerial Photographic Pilot as well as Aerobatics and Pylon racing Pilot. Jim started 43rd Air school in 1989 in Port Alfred, Writer and Illustrator of PPL guide for Australia and South Africa.
  • Dirk Richards: CAA Spokes person
  • Neville Böhm: EAA Safety Officer & Flight Instructor.
  • Date: Saturday 21 June 2008
  • Time: 09h00 to 12h00
  • Venue: EAA Auditorium adjacent to TAC and Holding point of Runway 29. Take the Hurricane Road entrance (NOT through the main gate)
  • Cost: none
  • Booking: Booking essential! Send an e-mail or simply phone me at the office between 09h00 & 17h00. If you want a specific seat, see seating plan.

EAA will be selling Boerewors Rolls, Steak Rolls and Curry and Rice, there will also be a cash bar.

NB. For catering purposes please let me know whether you will be staying for lunch! Placo will sponsor 1 drink per delegate.
