Talk Show Info: 16 April 2009

Featuring Lt. Col. Thornton C Schultz (USA Embassy Air Attaché) and Ric Woldow (EAA member and MD of Caterpillar in Africa). Hosted by Karl Jensen. Booking essential. 18:30 for 19:30.

We will hold another “Flying Legends Talk Show” hosted by the inimitable Karl Jensen and featuring, as guests, two wonderfully interesting Pilots.

Lt. Col. Thornton C Schultz: “TC” is the Air Attaché from the USA Embassy in South Africa since August 2007. He joined the US Air Force in 1983 where he served in many different roles including Instructor and Evaluator on the swing-wing F111 “Aardvark” jet bomber/interceptor. Prior to his position here in South Africa he was the Air Attaché to Israel.

Ric Woldow is the Managing Director of Caterpillar for the continent of Africa, operating out of Johannesburg. A member of EAA in the USA for many years, when he got to South Africa last year he immediately became a member of the local chapter and has attended many of our previous meetings. He is an owner of about 6 or 8 of different aircraft in the USA with an interesting history of hours flown on various types.

This evening promises to be as interesting as any of our past shows so if you want a seat, booking has opened.
