She is powered by a Rotax 582. 3.47:1 E gearbox swinging a De Necker 72“x 52” prop. A very good combination. Thanks to Monty of Kitplanes for Africa for a lekker local kit aerie!
Turbi II
The Druine Knight Turbi II is a one-off. I bought it in pieces in 1984. Rebuilding took long, I first flew it in 1989. Power is a Lyc 0 320. This aerie has now done more than 1000 hours, and is still going very strong.
